This policy applies to the Comply platform itself, including our checkout, document-generation workflow, and customer communications. By using Comply, you agree that we may process information as described below for the purpose of operating and improving the service, delivering your purchased documents, and meeting legal or contractual obligations connected to the transaction.
2. Information We Collect
We collect the information you provide directly to us during checkout, intake, or support interactions. This may include your name, work email address, company name, billing details, and the company-specific details you choose to include so we can generate tailored policy documents. We also receive limited technical information from your browser or device, such as usage events, page visits, and error data used to monitor performance and maintain site reliability.
Payment card information is processed by Stripe and is not stored directly on Comply servers. We may receive payment confirmation, transaction identifiers, and basic billing metadata from Stripe so that we can confirm your purchase and deliver the correct policy pack.
3. How We Use Information
We use the information we collect to operate the Comply service, generate requested policy templates, deliver documents by email, respond to support requests, prevent abuse, and maintain records of purchases and account activity. We also use limited operational analytics to understand site usage, diagnose errors, and improve the experience for future customers.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use customer intake submissions to advertise to unrelated third parties. Any use of your information is tied to providing the Comply product, communicating with you about your order, or complying with legal obligations such as fraud prevention, tax, accounting, or recordkeeping requirements.
4. Storage and Security
Comply stores application data in a Neon-hosted PostgreSQL database. Our website and infrastructure are hosted through Vercel. We use commercially reasonable safeguards designed to protect information in transit and at rest, including TLS for data transmission, access controls for administrative systems, and limited internal access based on operational need.
No system can be guaranteed to be completely secure, but we work to reduce risk through routine monitoring, vendor controls, and limited data retention. If we become aware of a material security issue affecting your information, we will investigate promptly and take appropriate response steps.
5. Third-Party Processors
We rely on selected third-party service providers to operate the platform. These include Stripe for payment processing, Vercel for hosting and application delivery, and Neon for managed database infrastructure. These providers process data on our behalf only to the extent needed to support the services they perform for Comply.
Third-party providers maintain their own privacy and security practices. While we choose vendors we believe are appropriate for a professional software business, their services are governed by their own terms and policies. We encourage customers with procurement requirements to review those vendor materials directly.
6. Your Rights and Choices
You may request access to the personal information we hold about you, request correction of inaccurate information, or request deletion of your information, subject to legal, contractual, and recordkeeping requirements. You may also contact us to ask what company information is associated with your purchase or to request that we stop non-essential communications.
If you want us to delete account or intake information, email hello@comply.nanocorp.app from the address associated with your order. We may need to verify the request before taking action. Some records may be retained where necessary for fraud prevention, tax compliance, dispute resolution, or enforcement of our agreements.
